RICS North West Awards 2008
The
Royal Development, in Bowness-on-Windermere, has won a prestigious award from the RICS
at the 'RICS North West Awards' ceremony held at the BT Convention Centre,
Liverpool.
The
awards feeds into the wider RICS Awards scheme which provides leading
projects from the North West with an opportunity to compete against the
best developments in the world.
The category
The Royal Development was nominated for was - "Regeneration."
The project was also nominated for "Project of the Year."

The Chamber of Trade
has actively been writing to the various parties to get a solution to
the sub-standard "Loading Bay" in St. Martin's Square,
Bowness-on-Windermere and the inherent traffic problems.
Here you will find the correspondence the
Chamber of Trade has been entering into with Cumbria County Council and
the Lake District National Park Authority.
There are also a number
of photographs and plans. All the photographs below have been
forwarded to Cumbria County Council, Client Services for their comments
and hopefully, action!
